A desktop livestream mixer built to give a media team direct control over a dedicated 32-channel stream mix during live production without depending on the main front-of-house workflow.

Role
End-to-end (product direction, desktop app development, audio workflow implementation, and live operations support)
Timeline
6 weeks
Problem
The livestream team could not reliably control its own mix during service because the main technical workflow stayed focused on front-of-house audio, leaving stream adjustments dependent on another team during live production.
Approach
Built a dedicated 32-channel desktop mixer with an X32-style workflow so the media team could monitor and adjust the livestream mix independently after routing the original channel inputs into a separate control station.
Results
- Separated livestream mixing from the main console workflow.
- Gave the media team direct control over stream audio during service.
- Created a practical operational fallback path without relying on another operator for every adjustment.
Impact
- Built around a real weekly production bottleneck rather than a demo use case.
- Mirrors a familiar live-mixing workflow, which keeps adoption friction low.
- Supports a production setup intended for live use instead of only testing.
